In Oscar's Garden, midnight blooms under a crescent moon. Brass coloured, interwoven spirals perfectly frame the garden behind them. This is an otherworldly garden that exists between dusk and dreaming.
Dark, luminous flowers rise from the earth in cascading waves of teal and silver. Their petals curling like ink dissolving in still water, their stamens tipped with deep crimson. Each bloom seems to lean toward the pale crescent above, drawn by something older than light. The night sky behind them deepens from rose to violet, scattered with stars that feel more felt than seen.
Oscar's Garden is a place of quiet, beautiful strangeness. Part Art Nouveau reverie, part gothic fairy tale. It is the kind of artwork that rewards long looking, revealing new details each time the eye moves across it.

This artwork began as pencil on paper, and was then enhanced on a computer. No artificial intelligence (AI) was used in the creation of this artwork.

HOW IT'S MADE
The artwork is drawn by Dani here in Hampshire. The fabric is printed in Derbyshire for us. Everything after that happens on my studio table: cut, hemmed, pressed, wrapped and packed by hand, one at a time.
CARE
Wash before first use. Machine wash warm with similar colours, tumble dry low, and iron on the reverse if you want it crisp. The colour is printed into the cloth rather than sat on top of it, so it won't crack or peel with washing.
ABOUT HANGING IT INSTEAD
Plenty of people never let these near a wet plate. It works as a small wall hanging over a peg rail, draped on an oven door, or framed properly if you're feeling committed. No judgement either way, it's yours once it arrives.
