Hundreds of hours went into drawing this one mandala. Every part of the design was drawn by hand, and then perfected electronically before being printed onto cotton.

This sacred mandala artwork is designed as a visual meditation - a gentle invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.
Two things at once. A monochrome mandala cushion cover that looks finished exactly as it is, and a detailed, intricate outline that invites you to colour it in exactly as you want to.
Either way it is a real tea towel. It dries glasses.
LEAVE IT AS IT IS
Fine line, black on white cotton. It works in a room that already has enough going on, and it works next to the colour version if you have that one. Nobody has to know you were given homework.
OR COLOUR IT IN
This is where it gets good. Sit down with a set of fabric pens and fill it in over an evening, or over a month of evenings. It is a proper piece of slow craft, not a ten minute activity, and what you end up with is a tea towel nobody else on earth has.
WHAT IT IS
A 56 x 56 cm (roughly 22 x 22 inch) square tea towel in 100% cotton. My artwork is digitally printed onto the cloth by a small fabric printer in Derbyshire. It then comes to me, and I cut it, hem it, press it and pack it at my studio desk.
Because it is square with the mandala centred, it also works as a table topper, a plant mat, a bread basket liner or a small wall hanging. Coloured or not.
DETAILS
56 x 56 cm approx (22 x 22 inches) 100% cotton, printed in Derbyshire. Hand hemmed on all four sides, signed in the corner of the print. Comes in a printed Dinni Doll belly band, ready to give as a gift.
IF YOU WANT TO COLOUR IT
You will need fabric pens or fabric paint. These are not included, and ordinary felt tips or biros will wash straight out, so please do use the proper thing.
Wash the towel before you start, to shift anything it might have picked up in the post. Put a piece of card inside or underneath, so the colour does not bleed through onto your table. Let it dry and set for a few days. Heat set it with an iron before you wash or use it.
That last step is the one people skip and then regret.
IF YOU WOULD RATHER NOT COLOUR IT
Wash before first use. Machine wash warm with like colours, tumble dry low or line dry, warm iron on the reverse. No bleach. It will be perfectly happy living its life as a black and white tea towel.
A NOTE ON HOW IT LOOKS
The print sits on the face of the cotton, so the reverse is fainter. The 56 x 56 cm is approximate, hand hemming means a few millimetres either way.
WHO IT SUITS
Anyone who likes a colouring book but has run out of patience with paper. It makes a good gift for a crafter, a nice slow thing for someone who needs one, and a quietly smug present for the person who already owns everything.
