Hundreds of hours went into drawing this one mandala. Every part of the design was drawn by hand, and then perfected electronically before being printed onto cotton.

This sacred mandala artwork is designed as a visual meditation - a gentle invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.
Two things at once. A monochrome mandala cushion cover that looks finished exactly as it is, and a detailed, intricate outline that invites you to colour it in exactly as you want to.
At approximately 45 centimetres square there is a lot of detail to look at, and a lot of spaces to fill in should you choose to.
LEAVE IT AS IT IS
Fine line, black on white cotton. It works in a room that already has enough going on, and it works next to the colour version if you have that one. Nobody has to know you were given homework.
OR COLOUR IT IN
This is where it gets good. Sit down with a set of fabric pens and fill it in over an evening, or over a month of evenings. It is a proper piece of slow craft, not a ten minute activity, and what you end up with is a cushion nobody else on earth has.
It makes an unusual gift for anyone who colours, and a very good one for someone recovering, convalescing, or just in need of something absorbing to do with their hands.
HOW TO COLOUR IT (this is also printed on the sleeve)
Wash it before you start, to remove anything it picked up in transit.
Use fabric markers or fabric paint. This part matters, so I will be blunt about it: Sharpies, biros, gel pens and ordinary felt tips will not work. They bleed through the weave, they fade, and they wash out the first time the cover goes near a machine. Fabric markers or fabric paint, nothing else.
Slide a piece of card inside the cover before you begin, so nothing bleeds through to the back.
Let the colour dry and set for a few days.
Heat set it with an iron before washing or using it.
Pens and paint are not included. Any craft shop will have fabric markers, and any decent set will do the job.

You are buying the cover. There is no insert inside it and none is included. The photographs show it on a pad so you can see how it sits.
This fits well over a full 40x40cm cushion insert, or a moderately filled 45x45cm cushion insert.
CARE
If you have coloured it, heat set it first and follow the pen manufacturer's instructions.
Machine wash warm with like colours.
Tumble dry low or line dry.
Warm iron on the reverse.
No bleach, ever.
